Origins

Those who travel the seas of Sekai far and wide fear the sound of his name. Captain Grimjaw, a pirate infamous for his ruthlessness and cruel character, rules over lawless region of Blackwater, an archipelago in the far west of the Sekai realm. Grimjaw's flagship, The Sea Serpent, cuts through the waves with deadly precision, armed to the teeth with cannons and manned by the most notorious cutthroats in the region. Known for their merciless raids, Grimjaw's crew spares none in their pursuit of riches and power, capturing men, women, and children for ransom or worse — death.

Grimjaw’s ambition is to rule over the seven seas of Sekai, and eventually all of the realm. This ambition led to him stricking a pact with the Underworld Emperor, Grimmorth, sacrificing his heart in exchange for Grimmorth’s dark powers. Promised even greater power should he conquer the Crimson Sea, Grimjaw sets his sights on the greatest treasure of Blackwater hidden within the depths of an island, cursed by the gods of Ciel, unknowing of what lies ahead.

Abilities

Captain Grimjaw thrives in the heat of battle. The more health he loses, the greater his attack and speed becomes. Grimjaw laughs in the face of death. When he falls in battle, he explodes in a burst of dark energy, reviving himself with a fortified defense.

Grimjaw's fighting style is brutal and direct, focused on overwhelming his enemies with raw power. When enraged, he unleashes a flurry of attacks with his Chaosbane Cutlass, dealing heavy damage to enemies in front of him.
