Burning Tides

Red skies, bloody waters, and black fog engulf the Crimson Sea. The sounds of wood cracking and swords clashing echo through the distance.
“Fire! Fire! Fire!” shouted the crew on board the Sea Serpent. Standing at the helm of his notorious flagship, Captain Grimjaw appeared unfazed by the chaos surrounding him. As his crew’s ships sank one by one, doomed to the depths of the ocean by the burning tides, Grimjaw knew he was on the right path: the path to eternal glory.
A snap echoed through the air, and suddenly, the skies turned black and the fog grew thicker.
“You fools, how dare you disturb my slumber!” bellowed the Demon Queen, Lilith Bloodrose.
Grimjaw grinned at the sight of the Demon Queen. “Hah! At last, I found you! Now… give me my treasure!” Without a moment to spare, Grimjaw lunged forward, a dark shadow trailing him.
“That’s not possible… how could it be…” mumbled Lilith, her eyes widening as she noticed the dark figure behind the captain.
Unbeknownst to her, Grimjaw had made a pact with the Underworld Emperor — his heart for a portion of Grimmorth’s dark powers. Grimjaw was determined to conquer Blackwater and claim all the glory for himself.
“HAHAHA! Raise your swords, Ms. Bloodrose, let us dance!” shouted the captain.
Lilith's eyes narrowed, her crimson gaze locked onto Grimjaw. The air crackled with tension as their powers collided, the Crimson Sea blazing around them. The battle for dominance had begun, and the seas of Sekai would never be the same.
As the battle raged on, the sky above began to split, a blinding light piercing through the darkness. From above descended Seraphiel, an angel of light, her radiant wings spreading a holy aura across the battlefield. She landed gracefully beside Lilith, her presence bringing a strange calm amidst the chaos.
“Even the darkest realms deserve balance,” Seraphiel spoke, her voice echoing with divine authority. “Something tells me, you might need my help, Lilith.”
The Demon Queen scowled, yet knew that without Seraphiel, she would barely stand a chance. “Very well, angel. Together, we shall end this.”
Grimjaw’s eyes widened in shock, but his grin quickly returned. “Ha! Two against one? That’s hardly fair,” he mocked, though his confidence wavered.
The combined forces of Lilith’s dark magic and Seraphiel’s holy light clashed against Grimjaw and Grimm’s shadow. The sea itself seemed to rage in response, fire waves crashing violently as the elements rebelled against the presence of such powerful beings.
The battle for dominance had truly begun, and the seas of Sekai would never be the same.
